A beer that has a dominant malty taste. This beer’s origins in a monk’s recipe are reflected in its heartiness. The Pope of Beers, Conrad Seidl, describes it as: “Almost black with a very slight red tone, a sensational, festive foam and truly extraordinary fragrance that at first summons up visions of greaves lard. The first taste is of mild fullness with an accompanying coffee tone, which becomes more dominant with the aftertaste. There is very little of the sweetness that is frequently to be tasted with doppelbock beer.” The Ayinger Celebrator has been ranked among the best beers of the world by the Chicago Testing Institute several times and has won numerous medals.ABV: 6.7%£3.30
Barrel & Bean starts its life as our Tripel—a Belgian-style golden ale. We age that beer in bourbon barrels for just shy of two months, before blending it with cold-brewed coffee from Speckled Ax, a Maine coffee roaster. The sun-dried Ethiopian beans in the coffee are known for their stone fruit and dark berry flavors. The finished beer features rich notes of caramel, bourbon, and coffee.ABV: 10.0%£9.00
With cold-pressed citrus oils, cardamom and whole Kashmiri saffron for a bright and sophisticated kombucha lift. Using botanicals inspired by gin, and saffron known as a mood-enhancer, this flavour is a great alternative to alcohol or healthful spirit mixer. Drink to uplift, refresh and rebalance.ABV: less than 0.5%£2.50
An enlivening wheat beer with the zing of orange and Gorse flowers from local fields. Winter slumber is over, blossoms are out and warmer days filled with outdoor pursuits are just around the corner. Greet the promise of spring with this uplifting Belgian Wit and sunshine on your face, reminiscent of a hazy spring day in the country.ABV: 5.0%£4.30
The Smoked Brown (5.5%) - In the spirit of times when malted barley was kilned over open fires, The Smoked Brown is a modern take on traditional brown ale. It’s brewed using malt smoked over beechwood in Bamberg, Germany. The subtle smokiness, together with dark-fruit and toffee flavours, makes this complex and intriguing beer a perfect match for food.ABV: 5.5%£4.10
Augustiner Helles lager is made according to the German beer Purity law. Which means it it made with all stunning Bavarian beer hops and malt, then the beer is given a long secondary fermentation to make for a crisp, smooth beer with a lightly hoppy finish. It’s the ultimate lager for every season and absurdly drinkable.ABV: 5.2%£3.60

Can we just say that 6.4% is the magic abv for our IPAs? Whether it was the incredible technicolour dream that was El Dorado Mosaic from our Originals range, or the more refined experienced numbers of An Original Mix, or Pines from our Augment range, we’ve always had a knack of creating absolutely kickass IPAs at that 6.4% mark. Sound Surrender acknowledges this trend, knocks it out of the park, and then runs to catch the ball itself; a reeled back and easygoing dry hop bill of Columbus and Simcoe belies the magic going on in this beer, as a certified tidal wave of passionfruit, berry and apricot notes pair up with a heady swag bag of earthy pine and pithy citrus notes. All wrapped up in a warm hug of LA3 for maximum suspension, is this following in its highly praised siblings footsteps? Absolutely yes.ABV: 6.4%£5.50
