A first from new Kent brewery, Moot, headed up by our very own Calvin Gear!Kentish American Pale Ale.Juicy Yakima Chief Citra combined with English Fuggles and Bramling Cross creates a big punch of citrus and hedgerow fruits. Barrel Aged Liquorice and Sea Water Stout. For our 4th ever barrel aged beer, we have brought back a classic, North Sea Stout. This dark, robust, briny stout is flavoured with salted liquorice and aged in bourbon and scotch whisky barrels for over 10 months. This beer is rich, roasty and bold, certainly not to be missed.ABV: 12.3%£8.80
Cast Iron Billy is a luxurious Imperial Brown Stout that harkens back to Victorian London’s brewing golden age. We’re extremely proud of our city’s rich brewing history and so for this beer we’ve drawn on an original Barclay Perkins recipe from 1832. Velvety smooth with chocolate, caramel and dark berry flavours alongside delicate hints of vanilla - you’d be forgiven for thinking Cast Iron Billy sits well below its 10.5% ABV. Close your eyes, take a sip and imagine walking down the smog filled streets of industrial revolution era Southwark... ...or maybe just enjoy your beer.ABV: 10.5%£5.95
Just before we closed up the brewery for our annual shutdown over Christmas, some idle chatter revealed that several members of staff are keen sloe gin makers/drinkers, and the holidays were the time of year they’d crack open their efforts. Never one to miss an opportunity, we wanted to create a beer that works well with the tartness of sloe berries, but at the same time remains mega drinkable, as is the Polly’s way. Step forward Sweet Treasure; a sour beer with our Scottish magician Lally at the wheel, utilising both early picked sloe berries and late picked sloe berries – the early picked berries bringing a lip-smacking tartness to the party, whilst the more mature later picked fruit brings very subtle, sweet almond notes to finish things off.ABV: 4.6%£5.25
Alcohol-free Pale Ale. A delight for the senses, this beer delivers on all levels. Rosy floral aromas are immediate as you pour, with a light and limey citrus bite on the palate and a balanced but obvious bitterness to finish.ABV: 0.5%£2.25
